In which Randy, Fred and I continue to pontificate on our player purchasing preferences, questions whether the distraction of fighting robots influenced Stephen's signings, and investigate the disaster that is Vancouver.

Yeah I was left with an abysmal payroll. My first couple of seasons will be tough.

seriously though he's strictly a left handed bat as insurance. probably doesn't make the team out of ST.
OR
maybe he'll be my starting RF?

I didn't keep Rocky because his range dropped. If he's suddenly only an above average fielder, he isn't nearly as valuable. I also think his value is down because at 8 range, it is now debatable if hes an everyday CF anymore.
Still like him a lot, but didn't want to risk the long-term commitment.

Disasters can be fun though. Also, I think Vancouver has some interesting young prospects. It's just the payroll for the talent it purchased this year that's so atrocious.

Bobby Lynch was heavily abused early in his career, so at this point I'm guessing those drops are real...but we'll see what happens.

The abuse continued last year... Edmonton was one of the teams I did get to on the pitching tracker and despite only starting 21 times, Lynch had a PAP total that would have put him 5th in the league last year and 12th overall from 2033-2035 (and represented a career high).

BTW, guys...I love these podcasts. Even when I don't agree, they're great fun.

Statsplus tracks PAP but apparently only for the season at hand. I used it a lot last year tracking my pitchers to learn more about what damage I was doing. I just tried looking it up but their is no option for 2036.

If PAP is only for starters (which I believe it is and how I track it) then the cyclone is perfect for it because you dont start recording any points until 100 pitches. Im not sure how it accounts for starters who throw shorter outings on shorter rest.

Thanks man. I just hope no one thinks we're really as confident as we sound. You have to have an opinion to talk about stuff, but I don't entirely believe I know how it will work out. I love being proven wrong.

Do you like them because ted and I (and this year fred) always happen to love the moves you make Lol?
In all seriousness, thank you everyone for listening, it oddly means a lot (to me at least). These are a blast to make (as I'm sure you can tell) so I'm glad you enjoy them as much as we do.

I feel the reasons why my moves are seen as favorable, is from what I have learned from past podcasts.
