2033 Podcast Nummer Zwei
So this was supposed two be a two or three part piece involving Randy Weigand, Recte, and Mike Calvaruso. The impetus occurred when I noticed how Havana is starting to look like a real team for the first time, and then it seemed like we could spin that into a discussion of the two teams at the top of the JLS last season that Havana would have to overcome. However, I was having audio problems when Randy and Mike were able to get together. I was never able to get another time schedule with Mike, but Randy was able to squeeze in some time. Then the next day Recte got busy and had to cancel. Fortunately, Stu was able to stop in and I figured this could be a two section piece about a recently dominant team and an up and coming team. Then Stu either jokingly or not, made a comment in the podcast thread about being worried about pulling back the curtain on the Genius. Frankly, I kind of get it. There's some good discussion in our chat, but maybe it's better if Genius Hokpins stays a mysterious, maniacal despot. If he gives me the go ahead, I'll edit this file to add his part. I do however have a little under an hour of editing left to do on it , and frankly don't want to do it for no reason. Also, I've run out of time before I go camping this weekend.
Lessons learned:
1)Don't try to do 6 recording sessions with guests in one weekend.
2) Get your shit together before you start. Like seriously make sure it works, even if the same stuff did just fine on your old laptop, so you don't quadruple your editing time.
Without further rambling, here's the piece where Randy and I talk about the Havana rebuild. Also, Randy, I left out your stadium reveal because we were well over an hour and it was during a part where you and I just rambled around for 20 minutes. There was no good way to edit it so it made sense with everything else.

20 minutes of rambling? you could make a case it was 50 minutes of rambling haha. That being said, I really enjoyed recording this one, hope it came out well and everyone enjoys it.

Adrião Hombrinhos, the IC/Rookie League guy Havana gave up to get Cantu, had a little ratings improvement, then tore a labrum. We'll see if anything comes of him.

You can't go uno to zwei...unless you were planning on a 3rd language then I guess it's cool.
