2057-00028: Talons Announce They Will Only Write Low Effort Team News For Rest Of Season Now That Caleca is Out of Reach

Communications interns at the TEMAFPD^TM were aghast this morning as they read up on the latest goings-on in the BBA^TM via the internet forums. Frantic calls were placed to director Frum and other front office personnel. One by one, upper level officials staggered into the front office and sat down in the Talons Club^TM boardroom. As the day's first bottle of VODAK^TM was wearily passed around the table, everyone slowly came to the same realization: No Caleca^TM Awards for the Talons this year.

Apparently, a wonderful, witty, and heartwarming holiday poem was composed and posted by a fellow veteran BBA GM in the wee hours of Christmas eve. Commentators and pundits immediately bestowed presumptive Calecas upon the piece, deserving as it was in all its glory. Hastily, Director Frum posted the following announcement:

"With the 2057 Caleca Award^TM now far out of reach, the Talons have decided to no longer put forth any extraordinary effort in the composition, world-building, and photoshop editing of any future Talons Team News^TM this season. No more Off Topic^TM boxes, no more headline banners, no more anything. Henceforth and Forthwith, all future 2057 Talons Team News will have an exceedingly simple format, with bare bones stats and transactions news. Some might feature Your Mom^TM (*obligatory link) but most will not."
