2057-0016: Talons, in Blatant Points Grab, Present Their Draft Recap Round 11 thru 15

Phoenix, AZ--

So, on Saturday, the Talons Reclusive GM arrived at the Local Neighborhood Iron Smelter for his shift. It was a slow day, so the GM surreptitiously accessed the StatsPlus draft page from his company computer. To his surprise, the Talons' 11th round auto pick was already in the books and Round 12 was flying along at 1 minute per pick. Cool, the GM thought. Maybe it's time to take the Talons draft off of auto and actually try and participate for once. Did it work?

Round 11: LF Tony Montoya
What We Like: Our 11th round pick was better than our 5th round pick, so there's that.
What We Don't Like: High greed and bad intangibles. Regressed in his junior year in HS.

Round 12: C Hector Leal
What We Like: Finally a non corner outfielder. Low greed. Good HS stats. A chance to be a ML backup catcher.
What We Don't Like: Limited HS track record. Tall and lanky for a catcher. Will need a bump or two to stick.

Round 13: LF Al Pryor
What We Like: Best AvK in the draft. Decent defense. Great Grandpa played Monty Brewster in a movie once.
What We Don't Like: Poor batting eye. Poor intangibles.

Round 14: SS Jose Molina
What We Like: Great attitude, HS stats increased every year, could possibly cameo as a ML infield backup
What We Don't Like: Not a SS, more a 2B. Ceiling could be in Toledo unless he gets a bump

Round 15: C Ivan Quintana
What We Like: A legit ML backup catcher in the 15th round if all goes right.
What We Don't Like: Horrible HS stats. Lot of work to do.
