Baseball Park to Add Virtual Resort Wing
December 1, 2057: Forever Land – Eccentric futurist and multi-trillionaire Moreau P. Westmoreland today introduced the world to the Bikini Krill’s latest foray into high-end entertainment, revealing plans to expand Forever Park, the team’s home baseball field, built on the Marshall Island known as the Bikini Atoll.
“This will be a wondrous place,” Westmoreland said, raising a glass of champaign. “The new wings will be a series of five extendible and mobile 1,000 seat systems that will each take moments where disengage from the stadium ring to levitate into the one-way viewing system behind each outfield wall. At that point, fans are allowed virtual access to the field itself. I call it going multi-dimensional, because fans will literally be photons in the outfield, completely engaged in the game, but also invisible and ephemeral. No player will ever know they are there.”
Westmoreland said the renovations and new tech would effectively add 5,000 seats to the brand new stadium.
In addition, sections of the outfield will be outfitted with Come Together Door system that has been modified to connect straight to the greater Forever Land ring of resorts and amusement illusionariums. "I think people will find it's like having a resort right there at that ballpark," Westmoreland beamed.
“In addition,” General Manager Ron Collins added. “Every ticket purchased to a game on the Atoll will come with a raffle’s chance of also having a personalized tour using the newest version of the device, including test run during batting practice. I’d love to see every Krill fan on the face of the Earth get a shot at these, co buy your season tickets early!”
The 2058 season ticket system opens for pre-order in a few short weeks.
