58.26 Montreal Adds a Pair of Relievers

The Montreal front office confirmed reports this evening that it had struck a deal with Louisville to add two more relief pitchers into the mix as the Blazers bullpen shuffle continues. Montreal is reportedly sending cash to Louisville for the two hurlers.

Schlöndorff ...... Don Starr

Joining the Montreal organization are Aelbehrt 'Wunderkind' Schlöndorff and Don Starr.

The 26-year-old Schlöndorff is a veteran right-handed reliever who has been closing for the Sluggers. He's a fastball/slider guy who sits around 99 mph. This season, he's thrown just under 25 innings with a 5.47 ERA and 12 saves.

Starr, also 26, throws a collection of four pitches from the right side, all plus offerings. His fastball typically clocks around 97 mph. He also throws a sinker, curveball, and forkball. In just over twenty innings, he's logged a 7.17 ERA.
