Renfork: " I have to agree that he is a fantastic signing. Grades out as clear number one over in the GBC but even over here he should easily be a number two type guy. Gives the rotation some more bite but there is only room for so many starters. Its already a crowded room. Who is losing a spot? "

GM: "Stop being such a Negative Nancy Niles. Depth is always a great thing to have. I think its pretty simple. Sam Fisher got knocked around pretty hard at times last season. So he will go to the pen as he continues to grow and learn. Should the injury bug strike, and it always does, we can plug him back into the rotation. We will have the pitching coaches keep him on a throwing regimen that will allow him to drop right back into the rotation should the need arise. "
