Brian Middleton spent his entire professional career with Valencia, a career that spanned fifteen seasons, from 2008 to 2022. Brian was the anchor of the Stars' 2014 rotation that captured the club's first Cartwright Cup. He would also capture the Johnson League Nebraska Award that same year, going 17-11 in 35 starts, with a 3.13 ERA and 6.8 WAR. Popular with teammates and fans alike, the Geary, Oklahoma native commanded both attention and respect. Brian was also known for his durability and peerless endurance on the mound, pitching for over 250 innings in a season three times.
