MAKEUP- Doesn’t care about money. His teammates say good things about him.
PHYSICAL- A minor hamstring injury to his left leg in 2055. He toughed it out and was back in a day.
SCOUT OBSERVATIONS- Drafted in 2055 in Round 11-Overall 350th. He played 53 games at Class A Medford. Struck out too much and didn’t walk enough. Only good thing was his BABIP at .314. He ended the season 4 contact, 4 power and 6 eye.
In 2056, repeated Class A Medford for 39 games. He began the season with 5 contact, 5 power and 6 eye. He was a different player. 159 PA he slashed .289/.374/.437 and a 108 wRC+. He was promoted to Class AA Carson City where he continued to hit. He had 135 PA in 34 games and slashed .311/.381/.546 with a 147 wRC+. He was promoted to AAA Death Valley where he played 55 games. He made 205 PA and slashed .251/.327/.464 with a 117 wRC+. At the end of the season, he was rated a 45 potential player with 5 contact, 6 power and 8 eye while his defense also improved to 7 at 3B.
He was invited to spring training in 2057. He played well but was sent down to AAA Death Valley to get some seasoning. He has begun the season on a tear. In 7 games and 31 PA he is slashing .440/.516/.840 with 3 HR and 1w RBI. He has swiped two bases and played solid defense. As of the beginning of the season he is now a 7 contact, 8 power, 8 eye hitter and a 7 rated defender at 3B.
He will be a 0.9 WAR player on defense while a 2 WAR player on offense. He’s a cross between Sloth Fratelli and a Mike Brodt hitter but has some power.
From the GM- I think we'll keep him in Death Valley for a bit. I'm thinking he'll be a June call-up.
