Pitcher of the sim:
SP Dow Jones
A waiver pickup from last season. Had a very, very nice first sim. 2-0 with a 1.13 ERA and a .94 WHIP.

Batter of the sim:
1B Clement Troutt
A nice return in a trade from last season. Put up excellent numbers in the first 10 games of the season. .395 avg to go with 4 HR.

Overall a 5 and 5 sim. I will take those all season long as i enter year 2 of the rebuild. I knew coming out of spring training that my bullpen would stink and boy do they. Look for constant tweaking to the Crusader bullpen all season long. Coming out of spring training my most promising prospect 2B Bernard Masselli suffered a fractured finger and will miss the first month of the season. So of course the guy i replace him with (Chris Hartley) gets hurt as well. Hartley will be out for 2 weeks with a strained oblique. Looking for big things from Masselli in the future and i can't wait to get him on the field and get the learning curve started.
