Since May, the Wolves have been virtually unbeatable. We haven't had a losing sim since mid May, and haven't lost more than 3 games in a sim in that time span. Thanks to records of 17-11, 18-9, 20-6, and 6-2 in May, June, July, and August respectfully the Wolves have served notice to the rest of the league that they're the front runner to capture the title in 1999.
The Wolves club has been capturing all kinds of hardware in that span. In fact, I'm pretty sure the team's trophy case has ran out of room just from this season. Here's a list of the awards the club has captured thus far this season:
The club has powered itself as the top offensive club and run scoring team in the JL. The Wolves rank first in every offensive category but 3. The club is 2nd in strikeouts and hits, and 6th in stolen bases. Other than that, we're tops. As for pitching, we've managed to straighten things out and work our way up to the top half of the league. We rank no worse than 5th in any pitching category and that is in starter's ERA, a stat in which we ranked 7th in prior to this mid-May hot-streak. Overall, the Wolves rank 1st in runs scored and 2nd in runs allowed. Stats that will allow you to become the top ranked club in the league!Monday, August 2nd, 1999

In my next team news, I'll discuss the liklihood of having 3 players with 40 homeruns on the same team, or potentially have 4 players with 30 homeruns.
