Confirmed. I grabbed Baldez with the idea of putting him in the rotation, but after reviewing things I didn’t feel like he’d make the rotation and didn’t want a 6 million cap hit as a reliever. I also needed a roster spot for Backhouse. Thanks for the easy deal Matt.
