Which Drafted Pitchers Will Pan Out
There are a mix of interesting pitcher types and ages in the first five arms picked this year. I'm interested in how the league as a whole sees them. So the question is simple. A simple yes/no for them all...which of these guys pans out?
Jose Torres: https://statsplus.net/brewster/draft/?league=100#
Brent Chappel: https://statsplus.net/brewster/draft/?league=100#
John O'Leary: https://statsplus.net/brewster/draft/?league=100#
Paul Worboys: https://statsplus.net/brewster/draft/?league=100#
Orlando Rubio: https://statsplus.net/brewster/draft/?league=100#
Feel free to add thoughts. I always struggle with arms as prospects.

Torres seems to be in a class by himself. The interesting question is who gets second. I’d go Chappel by a nose over Rubio. They both have three above-average pitches and a high work ethic, but Chappel has a slightly higher “stuff” rating. But actually all five should be just fine…

They all should be productive in one way or another. The dev lab and coaching may have an effect too. Torres has the 5 pitches and room to grow. He may be the best of the bunch.

I’ll call Rubio a reliever and consider that a no. My most confident bust is O’Leary.

Would have been interesting to add Nystrom, but time waits for no one.

If Torres is anything but generational I’ll be shocked
