I'd like to suggest that you use rWAR for pitchers. I believe that it is a better metric for this purpose. It adjusts for opponents' scoring ability, team defense, and parks. WAR relies on FIP. Pitchers who succeed in band boxes deserve more credit than pitchers in parks like Montreal's pitcher-friendly park.

In this example, of course, Silva is still the king.

rWAR (as of last sim)
Silva 4.8
Marroquin 4.6
Zorba 4.2
Iwamoto 3.6
Corfield 3.4
Bob Breum
Co-GM (Position Players)
2057 Johnson League champions
2057 Johnson League GM of the Year

Feel free to vote accordingly. I just listed top 5 based on WAR in game since it was easiest and non-subjective.

As I said, Silva is the obvious choice either way in this instance. If you go to Statistics, rWAR is listed and is equally non-subjective. I find that many folks are not familiar with rWAR for pitchers in OOTP, and I just felt obligated to promote it as a valuable metric. YMMV.

I just used the default WAR on the statistics leaders page. Wasn’t even sure which WAR they used. Maybe they have both, but I just went off the first one I saw.
