I'm curious what position(s) people think are weakest in terms of overall league depth, not any particular team.
If I did this right you can select up to 3 options.

Re: Where is the BBA Thinnest?
I actually don't think catcher is thin. The talent is just flat. There's always useful 50 OVR guys hitting the waiver wire and I've signed veteran backstops who produced most offseasons.
Having a strong SS and CF is what makes the good teams the good teams so those were the two obvious votes. Then I was a toss-up between SP and RP.

Re: Where is the BBA Thinnest?
I think it’s #1 SP, elite RP, then a distant 3rd for probably a combination of SS/CF.
I always feel like you can slide over some of the great hitting 2B/3B to SS or great hitting LF/RF to center and sacrifice a little defense. Not ideal, and they might be bottom 3rd in defensive ratings/stats but they can at least play the position, and their bat can outweigh some of the defensive skills.
That just isn’t an option with pitching and the BBA is really thin in pitching overall.

I picked 2 pitchers. Need another pitcher. Pitching, Pitching and more pitching.

Re: Where is the BBA Thinnest?
I was doing some all star prep today and Cano, Duggan, Keagle, Johnson, bin Ameen, Tingle and Rooney are all solid contenders to make the Frick all star team. That doesn't even include Bigelow(a capable CF playing multi positions) or Ordonez(played like an all star before season ending injury).
Not saying all of those guys will make the team. There will surely be some snubs at that position, but you can make the case for them as they are all on pace for over 3 WAR. Some of them are extraordinary glove guys who don't hit much like bin Ameen(on pace for 30 ZR in CF). If that isn't your thing, then we can agree to disagree on him and Rooney.
But that is 9 out of 16 teams that have a CF to be confident about in the Frick.

Keagle is doing very strange things with the bat this year. I think it's the Camacho Effect.
