How's everyone's going after the first sim? Can't remember at the moment but I'd say half the guys I put in mine are frustrated. I'd assume that won't always hold, especially if you pick the long ones. I think frustrated is the worst one so I'd hope a couple improve going forward.

I can't wait till free agency to find out half of the free agents won't talk to Portland because they don't like the fact we ask players to put in extra development work! (This is slightly a joke haha)

If you track it in a daily league, you'll see the first about five days are listed as something like the player "under assessment" ... which means the training staff is monitoring the player and has no assessment. From then, the tag changes sometimes daily. I've seen guys struggle and be frustrated all the way until the end, and then toggle to having been successful. And vice versa. I'm not sure I really like that oscillation, but it is what it is. At least in an online world, we don't have to see the sausage made on a daily basis, and therefor only get anxious at the waypoints. I guess that's good, anyway.

Bottom line: right now I'm just not getting worried about whatever my guys are listed as. At the end of the off-season, I'll look at the results and see what I see.

Same. I’ve seen the same in my offline saves, so I don’t care at all what these results mean, but it will be fun to look back at the end of training and see where they end up.

I think 2 on track and the rest struggling or frustrated. I'm needing a META on the lab real bad.

I figure struggling or frustrated doesn't necessarily mean it'll stay that way. Same with excelling. Just curious what everyone was looking at after the first sim. No worries here. Yet.
