2054-2055 FA Compensation

The following Free Agent Signings Qualify for Compensation Picks in the upcoming Amateur Draft

Reminders
Type B players must qualify based on 2 year average and meet the threshold in the most recent year
Playoff teams are not eligible for compensation
Full Details in Amateur Draft section of Constitution

Type A Batters - 2.65 WAR
Mal Fountain - NO

Type B Batters - 1.35 WAR
Bronx Cortez - RCK
Matthew Reilly - NO
Pancho Costa - BRK

Type A SP - 3.45
None

Type B SP - 2.45 WAR
Zak Johnson - NO

Relief Pitcher - Type B Only - 0.65 WAR
Tiernan O'Macken - PHX
Edward Crutcher - CLG

Reggie Leeper should have qualified as type B but he didn’t sign in time anyways.

Wow. I've noticed this trend towards lower WAR but a 1.35 for batters and 2.45 for pitchers? That's dramatically lower than it used to be - crazier still that nobody met the 3.45 WAR for pitchers, since that used to be the number for Type B.

Stuart made the cut but I wasnt eligible for a Comp Pick so he isnt listed.

I should have gave Hubbard a couple more at bats. Never thought he'd be that close.
