It's another winning Sim (recapped here) and in the dragons' lairs in London and Sydney. This is a Sim that could have been far, far worse given the hostile territories of 2 of the top 3 teams in the league. The offense is seemingly coming out of its funk scoring over 7 runs per game this Sim. The rotation had some scary numbers, but ironically enough they battled close game leads rather than clawing from behind.

BRISAS OF THE SIM - SIM #8

Pitcher

P Sofian Jalil
2 G, 2 GS, 1-0, 12.1 IP, 2.92 ERA, 8 K's, 4 walks, +0.4 WAR

GM Ben Teague has had an issue finding and developing LHP so it's gratifying to see one of the juggled balls land and stick on the mound. Jalil has impressed this year when he has been given the task. On the 21st, in London, Jalil went 7.1 innings allowing 6 hits, 1 run, no walks, and 4 strikeouts. He took his game to Sydney next where he allowed a middling 5 innings allowing 3 runs and 4 walks. That adds up to 12.1 IP, 1-0, 4 ER, 8 K's, and 4 walks. Not bad against the tough competition.

Hitter

RF Isacco Aglietti
48 G, 177 AB, 15 2B, 5 HR, 28 RBI, 5.0 K/BB, .277/.296/.446, 1 SB, +0.4 WAR

Aglietti just had fun on the trip. Or he faked it really, really good. In 6 games, the righty slashed .364/.391/.773 with 7 RBI, 2 HR, and 3 doubles. The next closest to his 7 RBI was the 5 provided by 1B César Torres. It truly was an all-around awakening for much the entire offense. Now keep it up!
