In the 2nd Sim reality hit Buenos Aires in the face and in Sim #3 it just kept swinging. Unfortunately, the Brisas didn't do much of that on offense so the team stumbled again.
BRISAS OF THE SIM - SIM #3
Pitcher
30yo P Deron Alexander
3 G, 3 GS, 1-0, 15.0 IP, 1.80 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, +0.3 WAR
Deron Alexander had two spotless starts this Sim allowing zero runs in 11 innings. He racked up 9 Ks total in the two and only 4 hits and 4 walks. Unfortunately, the bullpen could not hold his leads. Second verse, same as the first.
Batter
33yo DH Hisanobu Takahashi
17 G, 56 AB, 3 2B, 4 HR, 9 RBI, .304/.375/.571, +0.5
Takahashi finally broke thru this Sim. In 11 innings, he tallied 2 2B, 7 RBI, and 3 of his now-team-leading 4 HRs. He slashed .280/.321/.720. The Brisas really need the production they're used to from him so maybe this is his breakout point?
Sim #3: P Deron Alexander, DH Hisanobu Takahashi
Sim #2: P Marvin Winston, LF Roberto Torres
Sim #1: P David bin Adnan, LF Roberto Torres

Ooh this is a neat idea I might gratuitously steal/adapt for my own purposes...
Sorry the luck hasn't been better. Hope things can turn around soon. Been taking it on the chin a lot in Yellow Springs and expect it to continue for awhile (first few sims aside this year) so I know the feeling well.
