Teague Nabs Another Starting Pitcher in Free Agency

Buenos Aires announced the signing today of 27yo SP Richard Balgera to a 2-year deal worth a total of $6.3m. The righty just wrapped up 5 straight years as a starting pitcher for the Sao Paulo Pilots.
Richard was a highly regarded prospect ranked as high as #5 on BNN's Top Prospects list. He will fill the same role in Buenos Aires as he did in Sao Paulo. As for whether that puts him at the top of the rotation or the 5th starter we shall see. He brings a 99mph heater offset by a slider and curveball. 2055 was his first season to get over breakeven point in his career as far as wins and losses.
