Bomb Brisas
21 July 2055
Buenos Aires, Argentina
**********************************

Buenos Aires Brisas 40 58 .408 21 GB L10: 5-5 Strk: W1

The Brisas had another relatively good Sim as they try the climb to respectability on a 3-3 split of 6 contests. To start, they took game 4 from Sao Paulo to win that series, but they let Jerusalem steal 2 of 3 games in Buenos Aires. They split the first 2 games of a 3-game set in Cairo.

Sao Paulo: 6-5 W
Buenos Aires came determined avoid a split of yet another 4-game series after they pushed across 3 runs in the 1st but went dead quiet until busting out for another 3 in the 8th. No Brisas notched more than 1 hit in the game but the 3-run 1st inning and allowing 2 runs in the 8th before recording an out combined to sink Pilots starter P Will Mitchell.

Jerusalem 7-9 L
Jerusalem 11-5 W
Jerusalem 7-8 L
The Barisas stayed home to welcome the Monarchs for 3 games and started with a game of bushels: the Hammers struck for 4 in the 1st then 3 in the 4th, while Buenos Aeris had 2-run 2nd and 3-run 4th before ultimately falling short. Brisas starter Vern Kline held the Hammers scoreless before giving up 3 runs in the 5th and the Brisas scored in every inning but the 2nd en route to a 11-5 victory. In the series finale, Buenos Aires allowed the winning run in the top of the 9th as they again gave up a big inning, this time 4 runs in the 7th, and fell 7-8. They also committed 4, count em, errors in the contest.

@ Cairo 3-6 L
@ Cairo 5-1 W
Buenos Aires traveled to Cairo next where they went quietly in the first game 3-6. In Game 2 they rode a beauty of an outing from P Namik Vedat who allowed only 1 run in his 2nd ever IND start.
