Bomb Brisas
30 June 2055
Buenos Aires, Argentina
**********************************

Buenos Aires Brisas 34 48 .415 16 GB L10: 4-6 Strk: L1

The Brisas had what we call a "good" sim (we set the bar a bit low) splitting 6 contests for a 3-3 record.

Sydney: 3-1 W
Buenos Aires started the sim by holding Sydney to 7 hits and walked 2 in a 3-1 victory. The win left the 4-game series split. P Alberto Castaneda got the start and allowed the 1 run in 5.1 IP.

@Jerusalem: 5-4 (13 inn) W
@Jerusalem: 3-6 L
@Jerusalem: 9-10 (10 inn) L
A 3-game series at the Hammers home yielded 2 losses but also 2 exciting, extra inning affairs. The opener was a prize as the teams traded the lead back and forth until the Barisas scored a run in the top of the 9th to force extras. Then they did it again in the 13th. The middle match was a more typical affair in which long relief let Buenos Aires down in a 3-6 defeat. The rubber match was wild as the Barisas methodically tacked on runs while Jerusalem erupted for 8 runs in the bottom of the 5th.

London: 6-5 W
London: 0-1 L
Buenos Aires traveled back home to host the Monarchs ant split the first 2 games of a 3-game set with both being 1-run games. The first game likely made London fans with their heads blown. Until the 8th, the Monarchs led 2-0 but then things got weird with a 3-run outburst in the bottom of the frame, London answer with a 3-run blast in the 9th to take a 5-3 lead in the bottom of the 9th. For the 2nd straight inning, the Barisas posted 3 runs to walkoff with a 6-5 victory. Alberto Castaneda had the start in the 2nd game that was a classic pitchers duel. The righty allowed only 3 hits, 1 run, but one of the 3 hits was a solo HR. That would prove decisive.
