Need to get under the cap:
Pitchers
CL Jan Chmelyk - 64 G, 32 SV, 2.59 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, +1.6 WAR: Arguably the best closer in UMEBA but I need a bold move or 2 to shed some salaries.
SP Wally Bowden - Discount bin! Bowden is this close to sticking in UMEBA. His 2048 look horrific (7 G, 1 GS, 9.75 ERA, 12 IP, 1.75) but notice that's only 12 IP and 1 GS. At AAA he produced 25 G, 25 GS, 3.94 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, +2.4 WAR
P Manuel Andrés - 39 G, 16 GS, 1 SV, 3.66 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, +1.6 WAR
As you can see in his stat line, Andrés is that kind of Swiss army knife player that you can put in the rotation or pen and sleep soundly.
Pos Players
1B Adam Backhouse - 86 G, 25 HR, 73 RBI, .300/.317/.546 +1.4 WAR: Get this: Backhouse delivered all that production before missing the last 2.5 months of the season. For me, is a tough trade to ponder, but I'm confident I can work something - and the FA clock is ticking so think of this as "first come, first served)
C Baden Dutton - 135 G, 17 HR, 64 RBI, .250/.302/.409, +1.3 WAR: Has been the man at C for Hammers. Don't really have to worry about a catcher as his offense and defense are solid
LF José Figueroa - 146 G, 18 HR, 81 RBI, .326/.368/.495, +3.2 WAR: This guy raked in the battle for the last WC
RF António Cordero - 101 G, 8 HR, 48 RBI, .288/.370/3441 13 SB, +2.5: The manager pushed hard to include this guy in the starting lineup (hence only 101 G)...he was right
