So its award voting season. Do we deserve any awards? I doubt it. Will we win a few? Seems likely. Its looking like David Bates will win reliever of the year. He was certainly dominant at times and soaked up a lot of innings in the pen. Taylor Barfoot has the Gold Glove in LF award on lockdown currently. Barfoot also has the inside track on a Silver Slugger award as well. Guy really did have a hell of a season. Socrates is just a hair behind in the silver slugger at SS. Had we called him up earlier I'm sure he would have won it. That guy will be around for a long time. That seems to be about it for awards this year. I guess all things considered its not so bad.
