2051 Global Baseball Consortium RPI
Global Baseball Consortium RPI #1
The London Monarchs are the kings of the Inaugural RPI for the GBC. They squeak by Cairo with the edge in SOS and Pythagorean W%. Jerusalem is also within striking distance in the early going.
Buenos Aires, Tokyo and Athens make up the middle of the pack while Sydney and Sao Paolo proved that they can win at home but struggle on the road.

Tokyo and Buenos Aires switch positions as the Pearls assert themselves as the elite team in the GBC. Sao Paolo moves into third while London slips into fourth. Athen creeps up to the fifth spot followed by the Sydney Sharks as they work their way out of the cellar. Cairo and Jerusalem round out the eight teams in a tight race.

It uses weighted wins. You receive 0.6 pts for home wins and 1.4 for road wins. You then receive 1.4 points subtracted for home losses and 0.6 for road losses. Then you receive .25 pts for strength of schedule. Then finally, you receive .25 pts for your pythagorean win %.

Tokyo extends their lead over second place Buenos Aires after both teams create space between themselves and the rest of the pack. Sao Paolo is still at third with Sydney jumping from sixth to fourth as London craters as they drop from fourth to seventh. Cairo displaces Athens and Jerusalem is falling deeper into the abyss.

Tokyo, Buenos Aires and Sao Paolo all maintain their positions in the Index. Cairo and Sydney exchange positions while London and Athens also change spots. Jerusalem is falling further behind the pack.

End of the 2051 Season Global Baseball Consortium RPI
Tokyo holds on to the top spot to finish out the season and survive a charge by Sao Paolo. Buenos Aires didn’t survive that charge as they dropped to the third spot followed by Cairo and London.
Sydney and Athens kept close with the top of the pack but Jerusalem suffered as they went leaderless at the end of the season.
