Your Random BBA Graph of the week - 2048.02
For 2048's second installment there has been a lot of talk about HGH signing on with the Mumbai Metro Stars for the 2048 season, so I'd figure I'd do something fun to track his progress over the course of the season.
I call it HGH The Chase. We will update this Viz after every SIM this season to track where our boy stands against David Hall (HR) and Weaver Ripley (KOs) on a game for game basis, so see if he can break the single-season records for one or both.
Buckle up!
Enjoy!
~Mike

Unfortunately, whatever you’re using doesn’t seem to work too well on my phone. With no apparent key it doesn’t make much sense to me lol

Re: Your Random BBA Graph of the week - 2048.02
Updated for SIM #3. I have added some additional tool-tips that now show how each player has done for HRs & KOs vs a particular team. For April HGH has 7 KOs vs Beruit vs 1 HR. Likewise he has 2HRs and 0ks vs Cairo. Still some time left in April to catch up to each....

Re: Your Random BBA Graph of the week - 2048.02
Updated for SIM #4, our boy has 3 games left in the month of April to match or exceed David Hall and Weaver Ripley. He's trailing Hall in HRs by only 1 with 3 games left in the month. It took both Hall 21 Games and HGH 22 games to get to 8HRs, Hall only hit one more HR in April in 2043. Lets see how 2048 turns out. As for KO, after 24 games Weaver had 31 KO while HGH sits at 25, with 3 games to go. After almost one month in the books HGH is trending towards making this an interesting race to watch.

Re: Your Random BBA Graph of the week - 2048.02
Updated for April - Hot Diggity!!! Our boy did it! HGH surpassed David Hall by HRs for the month of April by 1, (10 vs 9). He also did his best to match Weaver Ripley in KOs, missing the mark by 1 (32 vs 33).
Stay tuned as this looks to be a interesting race....

Re: Your Random BBA Graph of the week - 2048.02
SIM #7 in the books, and HGH is Reeeeeaaally slowing down in the HR race. He's only hit 2 so far in the month of May. As of 43 games he's 12 behind Mr., Hall. Overall trend line isn't looking to good for our here. However, on the KO side, he seems to focusing his efforts there. Overall he is only 5 KO behind after the 43 games.

Re: Your Random BBA Graph of the week - 2048.02
SIM 8 in the books, and we are almost 50 games into the season. HGH has really tailed off in the HR race, trailing David Hall by 11 HRs over 49 games. He is still holding fast giving Ripley a run for the title, trailing by only 4 KOs.

Re: Your Random BBA Graph of the week - 2048.02
SIMs 9 & 10 are complete and in the books. Lets take a look on how the chase is going!
Looking at the data some more we find our boy HGH is falling even farther behind in the HR chase, hitting only a meager 5 HRs in the month of May compared to Hall's 20 back in 2043. Though 62 games, HGH has hit 17HRs vs 31HRs for Hall. I've also added some additional stats to the graph (AB/HR & AB/KO) - see I told you I update it - For the 2043 season Hall averaged a HR every 10.16 AB. HGH is currently sitting at once every 15.18 AB through 258 AB. The forecast predicts HGH to finish in the 45-50 HR range if he stays on his current pace.
Over on the KO chase, HGH has kept pace with Ripley though the first two months of the season. 73 KO for HGH & 84 KO for Ripley. HGH was only 2 down when the calendar flipped to June in the BBA. Looking back the first few games for Ripley in June of 2044, those were pretty unforgettable games. He struck out 11x from June 1st to 8th vs only 4 for in that same span for HGH, thus the breathing room between them now. HGH better improve his game, as the forecast shows him ending somewhere around (200-210 KO) for the season at his current pace of once every 3.53 AB. For the 2043 season Ripley AB/KO ratio was once every 2.65 AB.
One other note that I found out that the game itself counts ASG stats as part of your regular season totals. So Ripely actually had 221 KOs in 2044, but the game counted his 2 KO in the ASG that year as part of his total. If HGH makes that game I will add his totals also just to keep it like for like. Hall also was in the ASG in 2043, but did not hit any HRs, but had 3 AB that would bring his AB/HR down by decimal points.

Re: Your Random BBA Graph of the week - 2048.02
SIM 11 in the books, and we are half way through June in 2048. HGH is a staggering 15HRs behind Hall and 13KOs behind Ripley after 68 games. It looks like @bschr682 has a better chance of getting that Cheetos fountain at the dessert table for his wedding than HGH does of catching these records at this point.

Re: Your Random BBA Graph of the week - 2048.02
With SIMs 12 & 13 in the books, we are closing in on the mid-way point in the season, it seems HGH has forgotten how to hit the long ball. Perhaps he needs to get some lessons from this guy..... David Hall hit more HRs in the month of May in 2043, than HGH has hit in 3 months of the season so far. HGH has widened the HR/AB to almost once every 18.
However, it seems he HAS remember how to do this..... With a few games left in June, he could pull back within striking distance of Ripley by the mid-summer classic.
...stay tuned!

SIMs 14,15,16 & 17 in the books, and we've passed the mid-season mark for our hero HGH. 19 behind in HRs, and 9 behind in KOs.
Take a look....

Re: Your Random BBA Graph of the week - 2048.02
After 117 games it's not looking good. HGH has forgotten how to hit HRs, and remembered how to put the ball in play.... HR ratio has grown to almost 7 AB difference, but he still remains w/in 1 of KO/AB ratio.

Re: Your Random BBA Graph of the week - 2048.02
Whelp, "HGH The Chase" TM ended with a whimper. After our boy lost almost a month of games, (he played in 12 less games than Hall and 10 games less than Ripley). I really don't think it would have made a difference, as the season went on, the gaps continue to grow. I was most surprised that he did not break double digit HRs in any month except April.
He never led in the KOs race, but did lead as late as May in the HR race, but then never even came close after that. He held his own going toe-for-toe with KOs for April & May, never leading, but staying within reasonable striking distance.
Some observations:
HGH never had double digit HRs vs any club for the season.
HGH had only 2 multiple HR games in 2048 (4/21/48 vs Bucharest & 9/27/2048 vs Riyhad). Pretty much an entire season gap (123 game span).
HGH went on a 15-game span where he didn't hit a HR at all. (9/10 - 9/26)
HGH struck out 2x or more in 55 games.
HGH struck out 3x or more in 7 games.
HGH struck out 4x or more in 1 game.
HGH struck out 0x in 40 games. (Not good if you're trying to break the record).
Breaking down the KOs & HRs vs Teams:
vs Athens - 31KOs & 2HRs
vs Beirut - 12KOs & 2HRs
vs Baghdad - 3KOs & 2HRs
vs Bucharest - 27KOs & 7HRs
vs Cairo - 30KOs & 7HRs
vs Jerusalem - 9KOs & 1HR
vs Manama - 7KOs & 0HRs
vs Riyadh - 7KOs & 4HRs
vs Tripoli - 39KOs & 9HRs
vs Burt AS - 0KOs & 0HRs
Breaking down KOs & HRs Home vs Away
Home - 68KOs & 19HRs
Away - 98KOs & 15HRs
HGH had 128 KOs vs Division - 77% in 115 Games
HGH had 38 KOs vs non-Division - 23 % in 28 Games
HGH had 25HRs vs Division - 73% in 115 Games
HGH had 9HRs vs non-Division in -27% in 28 Games
I'll think of something to do again next season
