On the Diamond Vol. 3

Pretty good stretch. Went 6 and 3 including a very nice 3 game sweep of Madison. During the sweep we had a team era of 1.67 and a team batting avg of .340. I'd love to get that during every series but that ain't happening. Ryan Sittler is finally heating up. He hit .333 over the last sim. Ed Miller ...

On the Diamond Vol. 2

Bit of a rough sim. Crusaders went 3 and 6. The pitching staff really got beat up by Baltimore. Team ERA of 7.00 during that 3 game sweep. Seeing some brightspots tho. C Hurley Reyes is still chugging away hitting .368 over this last 9 games. Still not sure what is wrong with CF Ryan Sittler . He on...

Re: Game of the week Vol. 1

He is quite the good closer. Care to explain why i should change it to 8? I know enough about Lost to know the Hurley won the lottery with some strange numbers he got somewhere and they were supposed to be cursed. Thats all i know tho. And if it is a curse I want nothing to do with it 8-)

Game of the week Vol. 1

This will be a semi-regular posting. I usually glance at the box scores of games played during a sim. Any that catch my eye I will post here so all can see some great baseball (hopefully featuring a Cali win). Saturday April 27, 1996 Louisville Sluggers @ California Crusaders Steve DiBartolomeo vs H...

On the Diamond Vol. 1

I waited awhile before writing anything and now after 3 sims its time to dig in. A brightspot in April has to be the Crusaders starting 5. 4 starters have an ERA of 3.14 or below. While SP John Davis struggled a bit to begin the year it paled in comparison to the struggles of CL Billy Taylor . Taylo...

On The Horizon Vol. 1

Today we look at the bright future of Bernard Maselli . Maselli, at only 21 years of age, is the Crusaders most prized prospect. A SS/3B in high school, Maselli has been moved to 2B due to concerns of his lack of arm strength and only slightly above average range. The prized hitter currenty stands a...

Re: Cali Trade Block

Updated 07/13/10 Still looking to move 1B Wilson . I can help cover part of his salary if thats the only thing holding up a deal. Looking at aquiring a bullpen upgrade. I need a shutdown lefty reliever. Also looking into getting a younger infield. 1B and 3B most important. Could use a 2B this season...
