The Morning Glory 2059.01: Fountain to the Mountains

After having his team option voided, Mal Fountain became a free agent for the 2nd time. This time, he didn't end up back in Louisville. As the page turned from 2058 to 2059 and most of the country nursed their New Year's hangovers, the Oysters signed the longtime Slugger to a 2 year $24,000,000 deal...

Re: Analysis of the First Round of the 2059 BBA Amateur Draft

While still adjusting to the new ratings, I saw he was a 14/7/5 pre-25. I figured he would of gone higher with those ratings so I liked the value.

Re: 2059 Des Moines Kernels Preview

Realized I left out Ricardo Norman at 3B last year who was fantastic, winning the Gillstrom. I'm not sure he's the hitter he was last year but he's a very nice player. Arm may not keep him in the hot corner long term and 1B is blocked unless they eventually DH McCoy.

2059 Des Moines Kernels Preview

After breaking their long playoff streak in 2053 and making it in 3 of 4 years, the Kernels have steadily starting falling back off. Late in the offseason, the Kernels went a new direction when their GM stepped down which probably doesn't help their chances for 2059. That isn't an indictment on new ...

I'm in line with the other guys. Should of been something. We all know signing day is 1/1 and some of those guys would of signed for more. But I'll survive.

I’m completely aligned with your analysis of the second group. What the hell was Ramon Gonzalez thinking? At least the others have had some really productive seasons and could reasonably end up benefiting from a bidding war. Gonzalez has been the pits.

2059 Rocky Mountain RP Conversion - 20PPT

Please convert Ommar bin Ayyub to a reliever. Pretty sure he just drops the worst rated pitch, but just in case, please drop the changeup.

Re: Rocky Mountain and Twin Cities

Rocky Mountain Gets CF Júlio Martínez (S-A) $5 million cash Twin Cities Gets C John Adams (RMO retain 50%) Thanks to Brandon for the easy deal. Seems I always play Sacramento in the playoffs... may as well have one of the best throwing catchers in the game for our next matchup. Confirmed

Re: V25 Development Lab and the BBA – First Pass Review/BBA Guide

I figure struggling or frustrated doesn't necessarily mean it'll stay that way. Same with excelling. Just curious what everyone was looking at after the first sim. No worries here. Yet.

Re: V25 Development Lab and the BBA – First Pass Review/BBA Guide

How's everyone's going after the first sim? Can't remember at the moment but I'd say half the guys I put in mine are frustrated. I'd assume that won't always hold, especially if you pick the long ones. I think frustrated is the worst one so I'd hope a couple improve going forward.

Re: How Closely Do You Follow MLB?

I go to Opening Day every year and follow as close I can to the Orioles. Listen if I have the chance. I don't have cable so don't watch too many games on TV these days. I have already been to 2 games and will be going to at least 2 more by the end of May. Definitely don't know around the league like...
