v25 seems to have inflated the batting averages early on.
League BA in 2058 was .260 and its up to .263 this season. So it increased but I'm not confident enough that a .003 difference was caused by the new game. Season is still early.

Re: 2059 .400 Watch

I think Ploid has a good chance at .375+ but .400 is tough. I’m basically assuming his BABIP will drop from ~.462 to ~.375.

The way Aldo's defense lumped so severely but he still has 9 running speed is dumb.

Very good career, but idk if it’s HoF worthy for me.
You're crazy. 3,000 hits, 400+ HRs from an average defensive second baseman. 68 Career WAR.

I think 1B/DH Perry Taylor (Boise #14) could be guided to a passable LF. That was the deciding factor as I don’t need more 1B/DH types but badly need HR power.
The 1 rated running speed doesn’t make me optimistic.

He’s a HoFer. Hopefully he plays somewhere so he can get 36 more hits.

I like the retooled roster better (except 2B of course).

It’s crazy the game only has Martinez as a 50 OVR. 5 or more WAR two seasons in a row.

Re: Morning Wood - 58.24 - Concerns Over McNeill's Slow Start

A 10/8 K/BB ratio portends better things for McNeill. As you pointed out, the defense looks better than ever and that’s the main reason you signed him. He’s just got to hit a little bit.

Damn, it looks like he did retire. Great, the only pick I felt good about.
I expect you’ll get a comp pick which is the best commish can do in a weird, shitty situation. Still sucks, I like to always sign my picks.

Re: WHIV 2059.13- My Solution Is To Do Nothing

I gulped when I saw Randy Wright at SS. Didn't remember him being a capable SS. But he bumped from 7 to 9 range since last season. That's pretty helpful. You don't see that often. It wasn't even a dev lab program! There's nothing that gets me more jealous than a range bump. Feels like my guys only ...

sure, but also he's lumping
He's 36, makes sense.

I just find his career interesting. He's been high stuff, balanced with more movement, at one point he added an extra pitch, etc.

At one point you traded him to Omaha for two other relievers who were in my org to start 2059.

Re: What Would Be Your Plan For Jose Torres?

I wouldn't risk putting him in the lab since that carries the potential of a disastrous result. But there's no reason for him to pitch for Brooklyn before May 1st, 2060.
